Los Angeles Loves... Boys

A lot of people say we've been getting soft and if listening to smooth jazz on the way home from Malibu wine tasting tweetups is considered soft than consider us flaccid.

We hope to change things with probably the least soft lineup we've done since this one and we have AJ English from COMING to thank for pulling us out of our flaccidity. COMING celebrated the release of their debut Lonely EP cassette a few months ago and it was a performance so far from soft that we've had difficulty feeling any sensation, soft or hard, since then. What we do feel is a love for any band that can absorb the dissonance and nihilism from an era of bands like Wolf Eyes, Nation of Ulysses, and Einstürzende Neubauten and present a darker shade of antagonistic yet artful punk that makes people take notice. And that's just what people are starting to do with this band. They're incredible and they've invited three of SoCal's best new noisemakers in Wreck and Reference, Whip Hand, and Behavior.

Gentlemen, you've got some work to do because last night's show with the ladies was epic. But this one could be epic-er-est.
