Half of Los Angeles' music scene will be away this week down under so we'll make this quick...
She & Him and The Chapin Sisters break out the folk rock at g'net tonight. Andy Clockwise leads an army of locals at the Troubadour. And a ton of Monday residency goodness too... Back at g'net is The Swell Season but before that be sure to hit up a free screening of "The White Stripes: Under the Great White Northern Lights" at the Echoplex. Plus, Learning Music at Echo Curio... Ras G, Pudge, and Elusive lead the way at Low End Theory on Wednesday. And Les Blanks, Francisco the Man, and others rock Spaceland... Thursday is the heavy of the week with Xiu Xiu returning to town with Tune Yards and Noveller at The Echo. Wrong Way Driver and Ovideo at Spaceland. And Halloween Swim Team, Michael Nhat, and others at Echo Curio.
