Lots of fun shows happened this past week, all of which perhaps culminating with the great lineup at The Smell last night. Traps, Ps (pictured above and who some speculate might have played their last show?), Rare Grooves, and Black Elephant are just the type of bands The Happy Hollows should be playing with all the time and they seemed to feel right at home playing their first show at The Smell with members of VOICEsVOICEs, Moses Campbell, and other regulars looking on. Also, congrats to Dios on their record release show on Tuesday (buy it here) and the welcome return of The Sweet Hurt to the stage earlier that night (playing new songs off her forthcoming record) at the Bootleg. Also, raves to the David Scott Stone-curated New Music Mondays at Echo Curio with Josh Klinghoffer and Black Church (who we finally got for a show at pehrspace on 3/6). Good week.
