![Los Angeles Loves... A Night with Otik Records](http://www.la-underground.net/uploaded_images/111608_500-734038.jpg)
Almost every weekend for the last twelve years we've jogged or biked The Strand, about a 20-mile path from the Santa Monica Pier to the Hermosa Beach pier. Yet for all the countless times we've showed off our tight package through spandex athletic wear during the day, we've never had the notion to do so at night. That is until Otik Records asked us to help with a few of their shows recently at Saint Rocke and now we're all over Hermosa like Lohan on Ronson.
Each month, Otik Records tries to couple two bands from south of the 10 with two bands north of it, making a holy matrimony of music that hopefully a few savvy South Bay kids will appreciate. It's an effort to bring bands from both sides of the Rosa Parks Freeway together and we're quite sure Ms. Parks would have liked that. We certainly do.
This month we've got In Sepia and The Terrapin representing the South and The Hectors and Divisadero repping the North. We hope you can make it. Spandex encouraged.
