Los Angeles Needs... A Monday Update

Los Angeles Needs... A Monday Update
Thank you South Bay for coming out last night to the little big show at the Rocke. And thanks to Otik Records (pictured above) for letting us tag along. We hear we might do another one soon. Pics up.

Death to Anders, Alex & Sam, and My Imaginary Friends begin their respective Monday residencies. Elsewhere, Gangi opens for Silver Summit and The Why Because at the Prospector... On Tuesday, Meiko celebrates the re-release of her self-titled debut album at Borders (Vine and Sunset). Nels Cline at the Temple Bar. David Garza opens for Alejandro Escovedo at the Troubadour... On Wednesday, head out to Amoeba for The Parson Red Heads in-store. Amnion, Tenlons Fort, and Dirt Bird at Tangier. Nels Cline and Jon Brion blow minds at g'Net. Bodies of Water return home with a show at The Echo. Electrocute, Lady Tigra, and The Polyamorous Affair go electro at The Bordello... Thursday should be interesting running around to all these: Jenny Lewis at Spaceland. Les Blanks, My Pet Saddle, The Voyeurs, and Go West Young Man at the Silverlake Lounge. The Flying Tourbillon Orchestra, Avi Buffalo, Seasons, and boxViolet at the Unknown Theater. Dallas Don and the Echo Park Orchestra at Taix. The Mormons and Pizza! at Five Star Bar. Puppies and Kittens with Azalia Snail at Mountain Bar. Also, Meiko will be on Conan O'Brien.
