Los Angeles Needs... A Monday Update
Now, that was a weekend. First Fridays with One Trick Pony, Phoenix and the Turtle, Seasons, Death House Chaplain, and The Monolators was beautiful. Eagle Rock Music Festival was bigger than ever before with record turnout. And the benefit for Izabel Vega on Sunday was a huge success. Raves go out to Jillinda from I Make This Sound for organizing such a great event and props to Jack Gibson aka Tenlons Fort aka The Heartbreak Kid for getting both Eli from The Monolators and Joe from Radio Free Silver Lake to do a little two-step. We may have taken a photo or two...

So we're helping with two shows this week. First, over at the Scene on Tuesday (9/9), we're bringing a few of South Bay's finest E>K>U>K, The Soft Hands, and The Secret 6 for a little show along with LA's amazing Teddy's Cheer Club at The Scene (details to follow). And then, on Wednesday (10/10), our dear friends Summer Darling, Kissing Cousins, and Death House Chaplain do a Lujo Records showcase at the Silverlake Lounge.

Other things happening: Two nights with Justice at the Music Box; The Exfriends joins Castledoor's residency tonight; Exitmusic live on KXLU's "Live at 5" on 10/9; Sierra Swan and Carina Round at Largo (10/9); The Coral Sea, Light FM, and Hello Dragon at the Silverlake Lounge (10/9); The Henry Clay People and The Hectors at The Bordello (10/10); Let's Go Sailing at the Hotel Cafe (10/10); Ozma at the Knitting Factory (10/11)...

See you...
